Glossaries

Filipe Castro

Introduction

We are looking for somebody interested in taking over this page and organize our effort to develop illustrated glossaries in several languages, for several periods.  We do not have any ambitions of being exhaustive or produce anything definitive, but we are rather interested in creating a space where people collaborate to produce new knowledge in a field that is traditionally complicated, with words that have different meanings in different shipyards or for different authors, or words that can be spelled in many different ways, or concepts that are similar but designated with different words at the same time in different shipyards or by different authors.
