Introduction
This shipwreck was found during a visual survey around the Island of Mozambique on the 4th of July 2001 and inspected the same afternoon.
The site is located at a depth of 3 m, in front of the entrance of the fortress of S. Sebastião, and consisted of a ballast pile of small stones, covering what was described as small pieces of wood. Fragments of ceramics were found (possibly Portuguese). No other visible signs of wreckage were present.
It seems that no further action was taken by the salvage company on this site.
